Follows the singer, line by line

ScreenShepherd listens to your worship leader's vocal channel, fed straight from the sound console, and follows along line by line, matching what's sung to the lyrics already loaded in ProPresenter.

Amazing Grace
Amazing grace! How sweet the soundthat saved a wretch like me!
Verse 1
I once was lost, but now am found;was blind, but now I see.
Verse 1
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,and grace my fears relieved;
Verse 2Skipped
Through many dangers, toils and snares,I have already come;

Spontaneous worship

A chorus repeated, a verse dropped, a tag nobody planned. It holds with the band and moves the moment they do, from your full song library, not just the setlist.

The heart of worship

The goal is for one more person to have the opportunity to worship through song, rather than operate screens.

Live worship is fluid

Live worship involves spontaneous moments, repetitions and often changes in the direction of a song's structure.

Tech that serves quietly

In church, technology shouldn't distract, but work seamlessly in the background in support of worship.

Less pressure on teams

It eases the ongoing challenge of finding, and relying on, a dedicated and competent operator each week.

Frequently asked questions

It follows you. Start a different song from your ProPresenter library and it switches within the first sung line, so you're never locked into a set order.

No, there's no AI involved. ScreenShepherd runs on a proprietary audio transcription engine, listening to and following the worship leader's voice in real time.

No, ScreenShepherd works alongside ProPresenter, not instead of it. It is a plug-in that controls and automates slide changes, so your existing setup stays exactly the same.

Yes it can. Let us know the software you're using and we'll set this up for you.

No it doesn't. ScreenShepherd runs completely offline. Everything operates locally on your computer, so there's no dependency on wifi or an internet connection during your service.

Yes. The majority of console setups work with ScreenShepherd. If your desk has a built-in USB interface, just connect it to your computer and your inputs will appear automatically in the app. If it doesn't, no problem: run a direct audio output from your desk into a basic audio interface, then connect that interface to your computer via USB. Either way, you're up and running in minutes.

Yes. ScreenShepherd can listen to up to 5 channels at once, so multiple worship leaders can share the lead on a song and the slides will keep following seamlessly.

At any time, ProPresenter can still be controlled manually in the case of any issues with the app.
